B-B-B-B-Booya!  I am sure the plonk was rightly deserved. ;-)

a) The articles depict the problem as too big for the individual, and
no countermeasures were mentioned. Just rely on the
military/government to fix the issue. Or the other route, the risk is
so rare that we do not need to be concerned per se, but it is a
ticking bomb.

b) I do not see them as teaming up. I do feel that the AF is
attempting to find a successful way to get recruits to join, and
perhaps even do a bait and switch jobs routine. All under the guise of
high attrition during cyber training. But that is just me being overly
critical.
