FUD is the mind killer. The two articles mentioned read as psyop
pieces to induce FUD. I suppose that monitoring activities did not
frightening the masses enough, so to send the message that you have
little to no options clearly provides someone an advantage. The
advantage could be something as simple as funding. ;-)
