I am dealing with NEF files, which is not an open format.

Some thirdparty software like dcraw can read and convert NEF files to JPEG,
but it is just one thing I want to do.

With Nikon Capture or Capture NX, I even be able to change White
Balance, sharpness,
exposure compensation... anh much more.
