I'm sure that Uncle Jeff and the guys at Google, Yahoo!, and Akamai
are all well-aware of the cost of running computers. Last I heard 3%
of the electricity in the Great State of California was going for care
and feeding of computers; that's a lot of $$$.
So whats the other 97% doing. If 3% is all that is being used in California it would seam there are better targets for improvements in energy efficiency.
