Very much like the way AOLers hit [spam] instead of unsubscribing
properly.

Speaking of unsubscribing properly, I submitted a suggestion to Gmail
to the effect that they should support the RFC 2369 List-Unsubscribe
header properly.  Gmailers, please hammer them with that suggestion;
the 2008 Pizzigati laureate will really appreciate it.
