In Japanese it's usually just ninja whether singular or plural.  We
gaijin tend to say ninjas, as in ninjas vs. pirates.  

Actually, right now on Ubuntu forums, there's a thread about ninja vs.
samurai.  Some people have time... but of course, I couldn't stay out of
it.  :)
