Please copy and paste the mplayer error spew in a follow-up to this
post, and also attach your xorg.conf. I guess Fedora keeps it in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.
Hi,
mplayer -vo xv movie.avi throws the following
Software: Nandub v1.0rc2
[VO_XV] It seems there is no Xvideo support for your video card available.
[VO_XV] Run 'xvinfo' to verify its Xv support and read
[VO_XV] DOCS/HTML/en/video.html#xv!
[VO_XV] See 'mplayer -vo help' for other (non-xv) video out drivers.
[VO_XV] Try -vo x11.
-vo x11 does not play it in fullscreen either..
xorg.conf has the following.
# Xorg configuration created by system-config-display
Section "ServerLayout"

Thanks for your help.
