I seem to remember reading something similar in a couple of threads on
the Fedora Forum, but I'm not sure if it got resolved. The best place to
get mplayer is the Livna repository as some of the contributors also
work on Fedora. If the OP is not a member of the Fedora Forum, I suggest
he joins as there are a lot of knowledgeable people there, apart from
me, I'm only there for casual chat. I'm not implying there aren't here
