About Japanese language podcasts- there are several decent ones here
(from FM-Tokyo):

I've been experimenting with Media Monkey (on a W-box) and I like it a
lot (MediaMonkay that is - not W), but I need to find something
similar on Linux - particularly the function of having podcasts come
in automatically (after setting them to do so).  Incidentally, when I
bought MediaMonkey, I contacted them and said I liked their product a
lot (I bought the full version), but that I would be even happier if I
could run it on Linux - and they said they were considering making a
Linux version, so maybe that'll appear at some point (not yet).
