Yes, if you consider that ... but the original discussion was getting up 
to Tokyo for a nomikai and getting home in one piece in time for work on 
Monday.  And, when you have a fixed amount of money to spend and a 
limited amount of time, would you rather sleep in a hotel or drink more 
beer?  It's more efficient to be heading home while you're getting up 
every hour to pee than it is to remain in one place and try to race home 
with a hangover.  You make it back to Kyushu in better shape on the 
sleeper train.
