Thanks for replying.If it is for skype why not use a usb phone. The one I use just comes upWell, it's not just for Skype. As mentioned, I've got a few other problems with sound on the system.
as a sound card under Linux.
But on a side note, I've tried some USB devices, like an external card and a Bluetooth headset, and the quality has been terrible. I'm not sure if that's a USB issue, sound driver issue or what.
