That brings to mind MS's new OEM tactic for Office.
Many OEM machines include a trial copy that will open
X number of documents, then lock you out till you
cough up the cash.
While I have no problems with demoware and shareware
in and of themselves, I don't think that major parts
of an OEM package should be handled in that manner.
Then again, I also get agitated when I find out my
60$+ DVD Rom drive came with a demoware version of
the manufacturers DVD authoring software. ^^;;
