Topics: 1) Show and Tell by various TLUG members

          2) Officer Elections

This meeting will be a combined show and tell effort by a number of TLUG members.

Michael Reinsch will discuss his experiences with a LaFonera WiFi
router.

Henri Servomaa will show and describe how to create a serial port
controller lamp. This is useful when you want to have your computer
turn on a light when a compile fails or such.

Zev Blut will show off a USB controlled cannon and how attaching a web
camera plus using some open source motion detection software can be
fun.

We should have some free time during this month's meeting, so if you
have anything you would like to show off or get help with please feel
free to do so.

Finally, we will have our yearly officer elections for President and
Uvae President. Edward Middleton has expressed an interest in being
the next TLUG President. So in the spirit of sharing the power I am
going to stand down and let him run against any other people who wish
to be President. Thus, if you want to be President or Uvae President
this is the perfect opportunity to do so!

Lastly, if shipping goes right then the first batch of ordered TLUG
shirts will arrive. So if you made a request "before" the order was
made, a shirt should be waiting for you.

Other items on the agenda are:
1. Introduction of new members, news about Linux/Open Source,
   general announcements, Q&A
2. Auction
3. Elections

All Linux users and supporters of open source code and free software
are invited to attend this Tokyo Linux Users Group (TLUG) meeting.
Membership is open to anyone. There are no membership dues or entrance
fees.

After the meeting, we will continue chatting over a few beers.

About TLUG
----------
TLUG is a non-profit, non-political organization established in June
of 1994 to exchange information on the use of Linux and Free Software
Foundation tools. TLUG has an active mailing list, home page, and
regular physical meetings. Discussions are primarily held in English,
but non-English speakers are encouraged to come and participate.
We especially want to encourage Japanese people to attend and will make
efforts to support a bilingual meeting.

TLUG hosts technical meetings every odd month on the 2nd Saturday, and
nomikai's every even month on the 3rd Friday.
