TLUG,
I really have no idea why this has suddenly happened, but I can no
longer log into my MySQL server.
dave@example.com:~$ mysql -u root -p
Enter password:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using
password: YES)
I first noticed this a little while ago when I could no longer log into
phpMyAdmin (which uses the same root password).
Since I can't log in as root, I can't seem to change the password.
Are there other options besides a complete uninstall/reinstall of the
MySQL server?
