Oh I tried that.  Oh I tried...  My problem is no matter what I do the
java-config-1 never finds and VMs when it should.  This then prevents
me from doing any upgrades, because many packages want a java-config-1
environment.  Actually, I've been thinking that considering how I use
Java on my system I can probably just scratch Gentoo's maintenance
and do it on my own with just the few tools that I want.
