Keith, Erin, Here is the output from the suggested commands: uname - aLinux gutteridge.info 2.6.8-022stab67.1-enterprise #1 SMP Mon Jan 23 20:55:01 MSK 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/LinuxOddly, the output from "rpm -qa mysql -1" returned nothing at all. Also, I wondered...If I do a PHP script with phpinfo() in it, I get some output that has this long list of configuration commands:'./configure' '--host=i686-pc-linux-gnu' '--build=i686-pc-linux-gnu' '--target=i386-redhat-linux' '--program-prefix=' '--prefix=/usr' '--exec-prefix=/usr' '--bindir=/usr/bin' '--sbindir=/usr/sbin' '--sysconfdir=/etc' '--datadir=/usr/share' '--includedir=/usr/include' '--libdir=/usr/lib' ... and so on and so on.Are these all configurations that I would need to run if I do any upgrade or install?-- Dave M G
