[tlug] japanese input with OpenZaurus?

Hi all,

is it possible to get working japanese input with the OpenZaurus
distribution?

I've tried getting libCRIM to work with OZ 3.5.4 on my C750, but so far
to no avail.
I've copied the libraries to /opt/QtPalmtop/plugins/inputmethods and
/opt/QtPalmtop/lib, but the input methods just don't show up...
