M-x occur RET TODO\|####\|FIXME|\WTF\? RET is what I use.  GNU Emacs's
version is mouseable IIRC (ie, you can click on the line numbers to go
there), I don't know if that's been integrated into XEmacs yet.

Apparently it has.  I'm not clear how that improves on M-x grep RET "grep -in '....' RET
(which will do multiple files, recursion using the grep -r flag, and uses the M-x compile mechanism, which is more keyboard-convenient)

Actually I was hoping for something that understood todo-lists (i.e. allowed you to tick stuff off and add unrelated items) but I think I may be fantasising.
