There used to be, in RH 7.x at least, (and other distros) a program called kon. (It might be called kon2) I don't have a Fedora install here to test if yum has it but I would think it should still be available. (It might be called kon2) It's an easy way to get Japanese to disply in console--type kon at the command prompt and IIRC it's sort of like a framebuffer screen. I haven't used it in a long time, so there are no guarantees on this. - -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 Xander: Calm may work for Locutus of the Borg here, but I'm freaked out, and I intend to stay that way. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFDybBx+lTVdes0Z9YRAonFAJ9tmfKyQrzrUqZcyeLvW5zQgXyVngCeJRBc M0NMQBYDHMt1XPO3tv2qL1k= =PJGv -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
