I've been having some weird problems with Ubuntu.  Normal text entry
is all CAPS - to get lower case I have to use Shift-Lock(!?!) and
clicking on any link in FireFox opens up a new window (at sites that
should be opening in the same window, etc.  I think I'm going to scrap
it and try something else in my test machine......
