[tlug] More on IM

Hi All

I think I got everything working for Gaim, kanji input, etc, then found
that Yahoo seems to have a different protocal (not sure) for Japan
than for the U.S. Does "ymsgrj" ring any bells?

Anyway, I got an account at yahoo.co.jp as well as the one here and
I can't seem to login with gaim to the .jp account. I verified the login
(sjs_bebop_jp) and the password by checking email and all that works.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to get an IM account going so
I can contact someone with an account on yahoo.jp?

Am I mistaken or can someone at least verify that the two IM's
have different protocals?
