I'd been using web browsers to print plain (CJK) text files. 
gedit has given me the greatest flexibility with fonts, 
especially when I want a fixed width CJK font, 
but always wastes much space with fat margins. 

I hadn't thought of using OO, it's so big. 
I just tried it, and OO it works also.
