[tlug] SuSE 10 at Tokyo PC Users Group Thursday, Nov 10

Newly elected Tokyo PC Users Group President Keith Wilkinson will be  
demonstrating SuSE 10 at this Thursday's TPC meeting.  He will show  
how the interface can be made familiar to Windows users, how there  
are options for running Windows applications or move to applications  
that offer "Office" compatibility, and how you can dual boot in case  
you aren't sure you are ready to take the leap.  Copies of the DVD or  
CD set will be available at the meeting at cost (see web site for  
details).

The meetings are held in the basement meeting hall of Tokyo Union  
Church on Omotesando.  Meetings start at 7PM with the main  
presentation normally getting started about 7:30.  Admission is Y1000  
for non-members.

TPC also offers a low volume tpc.unix local newsgroup and mailing  
list which tends deal with more beginner style questions than pop up  
on TLUG.
