He is not thought of very highly of historians, apparently. I mentioned our Steve Turnbull (SJT) to a friend of mine who is a Ph.D. student of Japanese history, and he had quite a violent reaction. Luckily, we were able to sort out that the Steves were different chaps before long. -Josh
