Hi All,

ah, it seems that I may need to recompile...

'./configure' '--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs' 
'--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql'

Ok, I gotta ask...if I recompile, I just back up the current php.ini and 
repeat steps 10, 11, 12 on this page,

http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.unix.apache2.php

and make sure I add this,

--enable-mbstring=LANG:

replacing LANG with Shift_JIS, yes..?

again, I gotta ask b4 trying. Still getting the hang of this stuff. Cheers.
