If it's permissive, that's OK.  If it's copyleft, don't bother making
it open source.  Unless very carefully crafted, copyleft licenses are
normally incompatible with _all_ other copyleft licenses and vice
versa.  And even the most carefully crafted copyleft licenses are
incompatible with _most_ other copyleft licenses.  Thus, new copyleft
licenses do not give the benefits of sharing, while they rob the owner
of profit.  saiaku desu.

Use the GPL, the LGPL, or one of the Creative Commons licenses
whenever you have a choice.  All of these licenses have their
problems, but resist the temptation to reach a global near-minimum via
local maximization.
