This place I've found to be good for getting used things:

No promises about their being able to help in English though.  It's not
something they make an effort to do, so running into someone there ready
and eager to converse in English is a case of hit or miss.  One
non-Japanese speaking friend of mine came out of there grumbling at one
point.  Personally, I've always found them to be very helpful, but I've
never used English there either.
