Heh, I thought I had you quoting me out of context, then realized that
my original statement is completely unclear.  

I simply meant that ~my page~ is about inputting Japanese in X rather
than in console.

Canuum, according to my page, had some security issues--I have no clue
when I read that or added it, I never kept up a changelog.  (My page was
about RH 7.1 at first, so probably around that time.)

I always assume you emacs guys can do anything, so what you tell me
doesn't surprise me.  There's also a thingie called kon that enables one
to view Japanese in console, but you would need something else to
input.  I ought to try that with jvim, and see if I get anywhere.

Anyway, sorry for any misunderstandings--I simply meant that my page
refers to Japanese in X.
