Hello, everyone!
I'm Sacha Chua from the Philippines and I'm currently taking the AOTS 6-month
IT training course. I've been here for around three weeks and my Japanese
is now one step above horrible. =) I'm looking forward to joining the next
TLUG meeting, but would also love to meet people before then! <grin>
I'm in Yokohama, but Tokyo's just few train rides away. Would anyone like
to take pity on this poor foreigner, help me settle in and make new friends?
=) I haven't been able to talk to anyone about Linux or Emacs at _all,_ as the
other trainees are into Windows. My Sundays are free, and this Monday's
a holiday.
I'd love to get my key signed by a Debian developer so that I can get my
DD application on the way, as I keep troubling Ohashi-san to sponsor
emacs-wiki and planner for me. 'Course, non-Debian geeks would also be
fun to meet.
(And if anyone here happens to use planner-el... ^_^)
Perhaps Monday lunch in BitCube? For identification, I can bring my laptop,
I guess. It has a very faded GNU/Linux sticker. =) If the cafe's not closed,
I'll be there at 12. If it's closed, what would be a good thing to do?
