Dont know why do you mention "IDE and SCSI" (bus types) or "Flash" (Media type?) but for journaling file systems your are right ( acording to the author's documentation), However these FS's journaling only log changes to the filesystem metadata, so I dont know if the doc says is 100% true.. mmm... if it is true, then this command is virtually unusable nowadays, isn't it ? //mauro//
