[tlug] Japanese input problem in Gaim-0.75+kinput2

I had no problem inputting japanese character in the GAIM messenger window,
but its strange that "SHIFT+SPACE" key doesn't work in the text input window 
of gaim-0.75..
Anybody had noticed the same  behaviour?
