Re: [tlug] Installing Linux on VMWare running on Windows2000

hi mauro,

it's kinda late reply on this topic, but thanks for your help. it turned
out that i was using vmware version 3 which does not have the option to
make the IDE device for linux volume, so i upgraded to version 4 and it
worked all fine.

when i tried SCSI option loading BusLogic module, it seemd to have
installed the system successfully, but when i rebooted, i got kernel
panic and didn't work...

we are developing an e-learning system on linux but our sales team needs
to give presentations on windows at the client sites. currently, we are
carrying two laptop machines (linux and windows) for giving demo...but
it would be nice if what i am trying work so sales guys need to carry
only one computer (windows machine with linux runs on vmware)

anyways, thanks for your help!

yoshi
