Tluggers,

I've been going crazy searching for fix for two pc that were given to me 
as a present.

Mate NX MA26D
Value Star Nx VC36H/6

I have found software fixes to the linux installation problem but I am 
actually seeking a hardware fix.
Such as disabling the BIOS or exchanging it.  These PC's seem not accept 
anything other than M$ headache OS.

Does anyone know an information source or does have their own 
installation tips?

It would be greatly appreciated.
