No, you can enter /what/ever/you/want as a mount point when doing
partitioning.

Do you think supermount is nice? One thing I hate LM9.1 is that they don't
put kernel-source in their distrobution. I have to download kernel source
mannually.

Mandrake use Sympa as their mailing list software. 
I don't think they are using Mozilla to send massive emails.
