[tlug] challenge-response spam filtering

This is a bit OT, so please blow it off if you feel you should, but I know a
lot of the listmembers are doing sysad work, so I was curious: During the
past few days I've suddenly been receiving a lot of information from various
directions about challenge-response spam filtering. Is this something that
is rapidly becoming popular at the network admin level?
