I looked all through the English section there and then had someone
help me with the Japanese side, but she wasn't sure what it would be
called.

(It's the Organization where my fiance works.)
See, that's the tricky part - it's all registered and up and running
just fine.

Due to some internal politics that I don't understand, their Technical
Contact from the WHOIS info, no longer wants to be technical contact
and we have about a week to get someone new. So we need to register my
fiance with JPNIC, so that she can nominally assume this role. Then we
give the NIC Handle to the old guy who makes the change, I guess.

The only info I could find was ca.1993 and involved mailing an address
that is no longer valid.
Cheers,
Jim
