I'm going to suggest my page on inputting Japanese at http://home.nyc.rr.com/computertaijutsu/jpninpt.html It also has some links to better pages, such as Dr. Mike's. I'm also going to suggest you take a quick look at my newbie faq at http://home.nyc.rr.com/computertaijutsu/linfaq.html It doesn't have help for your problem, but the links about the best way to ask questions and the like might prove of help. (For instance, in this case, we don't know if you have Japanese support enabled, and it seems as if your problem may be as simple as not having called kinput2 to input Japanese, but we can't be sure from the information given.) Anyway, take a look at the first link, on Japanese input, and see if that helps -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 D575 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 Xander: This is just too much.
