The ironic thing about the Japanese keyboard is that - unless you use it for direct input of hiragana - most of those keys go unused, even when writing Japanese! After using only Japanese keyboards for over six years, I switched over to an English 101 (without those #$%& Windows keys) and was pleasantly surprised to find that it's actually better for writing Japanese with! There are fewer unused keys to accidentally hit....
