Re: [tlug] remote printing

I browsed Printing-HOWTO, but couldn't succeed. My network consists of a
single Linux box networked by an ethernet interface to a remote copy machine
as a printer. There is no extra print server for the printer.

Added in /etc/printcap:
lp:\
:sh:

Added in /etc/hosts:

192.168.0.2 cp660

Added in /etc/hosts.lpd:

cp660

My network is okay, checked by "ping cp660". Then

# lpr -Pcp660 file
lpr: cp660: unkown printer

Please point me out what is wrong. Show me a successful configuration.

Hoshino
