The second one :-)

The machine in question is on a LAN in a business center where our
offices are.  The upstream gateway is connected to a leased line of
some unknown sort, which feeds the whole building.  Said gateway is
a doze box, but we are planning to donate a Linux server for the
business center's use, which should stop all the complaining about
the unreliable gateway :-)
