[tlug] USBDNet for Zaurus and RH 7.2

Now I'm really sorry that I missed the Linux PDA meeting :)

If anyone could offer help for the following connundrum, it would be
greatly appreciated.

I've recently purchased the Sharp SLA-300 PDA and am trying to install
the usbdnet patch to connect to my Linux Desktop 
( Linux simian 2.4.18-10smp #1 SMP Wed Aug 7 11:17:48 EDT 2002 i686
unknown - RHat 7.2).

I've downloaded the patch from
http://www.ruault.com/Zaurus/ethernet-over-usb-howto.html
and kernel 2.4.19 (and a few other versions).

However, the versions that I tried 2.4.18 2.4.19 will not make.
