I'll have to read up on that. I'm all new to having having to read files in
various japanese encodings on a remote terminal ...

I know ;) That' what I have been using to test my files. But it really need
a remote term that will let me input japanese into the files, something vi
friendly ;)

Never though of that .... would it be better?
Now I just need to find a japanized sftp GUI for the non-unix users here ;)
