Backup in linux is nothing but copying files. If you got a new Nvidia
driver, you would probably modify some files like /etc/X11/XF86Config.
If it got screwed up, you just bring them back. There is very little
need of such facility once you got used to Linux.

No distro war and no flame please. It is better to be constructive by
helping each other, rather than to be offensive to specific distro.
