The people who can be classified as "arrogant snobs" are frequently the ones who have the most knowledge and the lowest barrier for leaving. It is also their leaving that causes the most harm for others in the group. Those that have left tended to provide very good, short answers. They could also be extremely abrasive. The deal is basically that if these people start feeling like they can't be relaxed in this forum then they will leave and those of us who remain will lose their input. What Turnbull was saying, and I think he said it very well, is that if, in the name of a newbie friendly forum, you make the old hands uncomfortable, they will leave and everyone will lose. So, strap on your asbestos everything and post your questions. If someone is unbearably rude, killfile them or just ignore them. Michael
