I'm sure mutt will survive evolution :-) B/c mutt is - no kidding - probably 1000 times faster. OK, maybe only 100, but Evo is really, really slow. They set out to make an Outlook work-a-like, and they sure succeeded :-p OK, Evo is actually better than Outlook, but speedwise it's in the same category. Possibly even worse. Which means that people migrating from Windows will really feel at home with it :-) There are some good mail clients out there in the GUI world and some have some bells/whistles/features it would be neat to have. They all have a common problem though - to get those BWF, I have to give up the ones that make mutt so great. Now, somebody could write a GUI mailer that worked like mutt. Heck, I'd take a stab at it myself if I had the ability in that area. I guess that's an itch no one has really needed scratched so far. People using mutt are happy enough with it as-is, and people not using it probably wonder why the rest of us do. Try dealing with ~20,000 mails/day in a graphical mail client and you'll know :-) Will gnomecard survive? Who knows, but .signature will :-) J
