[tlug] Root - NO KDE

Tlug,

I recently changed locales from EU to JP then found out that root could
not login in KDE.  (System: Mandrake Linux 8.2/KDE/250MB RAM/Nvidia GE
Force 2/Compaq MV540 Monitor)

What can cause one as root not to run KDE?

As root Gnome and or any other Window Manager is possible but trying to
to run KDE as root will return me back to the login Manager.  Root in
console mode have no problems.

As any other use I can access KDE/GNOME and any other window manager.
