CDs 1-5 contain binaries and documentation. CD 6 and 7 contain only
sources, you don't need them for installation.

How many and which CDs from 1-5 you need during installation depends
on what language you choose during the install and what packages you
choose to install.

For installing a "Minimal system" or a "Minimal system with X11"
(WindowMaker) in *English*, CD1 is enough.
