Dear experienced,

 

I have recently installed Turbolinx 7 on my old VAIO notebook and everything works fine,

except the internet connection. So I would like to know if someone could help me.

I can connect to my provider Nifty via kppp, without problems.

Now I if I start Mozilla and want to reach -say- www.mozilla.org -, I get the message

www.mozilla.org could not be found.

Then I tried ping and got:

ping: connect: Network is unreachable

and the same result with telnet.

I phoned Nifty and they verified that the connection was established without a hitch.

 

Does someone have an idea what goes wrong here?
