Yes DW 3 had some problems but I also had problems with DW 4 
which I thought were Dreamweaver's fault but then I discovered 
it was my shallow understanding of the language settings on Win 
2K English in conjunction with the language settings of DW. Once 
I got them figured out there were no problems with the English 
version of DW 4 displaying and writing Japanese. Now they say DW 
MX is fully compatible with any language on the right system.
