[tlug] Postgresql pg_hba.conf

Hi,

Have there been any changes in access policies for Postgresql 7.2x? I
cant seem to connect over the network even after adding my IP to
pg_hba.conf.

Changing 'local' access to password also doesnt make a difference and
logs me in without one.

This is true for both 7.2 and 7.2.1. These were my compile options:

- --prefix=/usr/local/pgsql-7.2.1 --enable-multibyte --enable-syslog
- --with-maxbackends=128

7.1.2 on the same machine reads pg_hba.conf the way it should.

Thank you.
